Sophie Ejelue is an accomplished organization and people Manager with over 15 years’ track record of delivering top-notch organizational effectiveness through people, process and technology. Her experience spans the Oil and Gas and Power industry.

Over the years, she has consistently delivered value in various capacity and organisation including Nexen Exploration and Production Services where she was among the team that pioneered the organization’s administrative management and successfully deployed a companywide technology based records management system. Her professionalism was further demonstrated when she joined Energy Equity Resources Nigeria Service Limited (EER) where she efficiently managed the organisation’s resources to achieve the strategic objectives of the organsiation.

Sophie started as the Administrative Manager for Azura Power West Africa Limited (APWAL) 6 years ago and after 3 years she was appointed the Human Resources and Administrative Manager where she has deployed her competence in areas of Office Management, People Management, Stakeholder Management and General Management. She is responsible for the Human Resources and Admin functions in APWAL and provides compliance oversight to the O&M Contractors (PIC Group, Inc.) Human Resource team.

Sophie holds Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Lagos Nigeria. She is a Certified Life Coach and an Emotional Intelligence Certified Professional. She is an alumnus of Lagos Business School and an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (ACIPM) in Nigeria.
