Nonye is CFO at Azura Power West Africa Limited where she is responsible for overall financial operations and budgets, accounting and financial reporting, tax, administration, compliance, and treasury activities. She also serves as the company’s Anti-Corruption Compliance Officer. Her career focus has been in working with business start-ups from project conception through development to implementation.
More recently she has worked in Nigeria as Finance Director, Geometric Power Limited where she was responsible for financial operations and participated in restructuring of $200 million in power assets. Over the span of her 20-year professional career she has worked at various times as a business consultant for US-based public accounting firm Cherry Bekaert & Holland, senior finance manager in fiber telecommunications network development for Velocita Corporation, and as an environmental engineer for ICF Kaiser Engineers.
Nonye holds an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
